Although
the tradition of the race winner putting on a cowboy hat and shooting
two six-shooter cap guns will continue for the other race weekends, Texas Motor Speedway might not have the celebration for it's upcoming April
weekend. Following Monday's announcement, track president Eddie Gossage
said he expects no fallout from the sponsorship, but did say "We have
to be sensitive to that, so we'll let the team owner make the call."
